Painting your house soon?

Did you know that Sapphire Pointe has a pre-approved color palette at Kwal Paint ?  You can ask for the Sapphire Pointe color palette.   You must also submit a Design Review Request, but know that choices selected from the pre-approved palette with be quickly approved by BRC staff and can allow you to move quicker on your project.  If you do not want to buy Kwal paint, you can color match with another brand.  Please read the painting guidelines before proceeding with your painting project so you can be assured of proper compliance with HOA painting guidelines.   If you select colors not on the pre-approved palette, they will require review and approval first and also requires painting color swatches on your home (prior to review and approval) so that the DRC can review in person if deemed necessary.

Useful information for Homeowners


 If a solicitor knocks at your door without a license, outside the allowed hours or in conflict with your No Knock status, call the Town’s Police Dispatch Center, 303-663-6100, while the solicitors are in the area so dispatch can send an officer to investigate if needed. Note that the ordinance does not prohibit solicitors from hanging fliers on residents’ doors – just knocking on them.

Important Announcements

Sapphire Pointe has a new management company

Effective April 1, 2012, the Sapphire Pointe Board of Directors has decided to switch to BRC Community Management as the property management company for the Sapphire Pointe Master Association.

As the Association is transitioning banks, your previous account numbers and coupons will no longer be valid. Soon you will be receiving new coupons with your new account number and banking information. ACH payments for April will NOT be withdrawn. ACH will begin again in May, if you choose to sign up for that service. In the meantime, you can forward your April assessment payment payable to Sapphire Pointe Homeowners Association to:

If you mailed your April payment to the previous management company, it will transition with your records. If you are
currently using an online bill pay system or having your bank mail an automatic banking draft for payment of your
assessments, please be sure to change the payment billing address and account number once you receive it.
As we realize this is a transition month, the late fee for April will be waived. If you wish to have your payments
automatically withdrawn, a form is enclosed to complete and send back. Please do not forget to attach a voided check
with the form to ensure that your ACH will be processed expeditiously. Again, ACH payments will not be withdrawn
until your May assessment.

CNN Money ranks Castle Rock among country’s best places to live

CNN Money announced its 2011 Best Places to Live in America, with descriptions of the Top 100 Towns across the country – Town of Castle Rock ranks number 19!

A team of seven Money reporters spent months combing through data and identifying small towns (those with populations of less than 50,000) that stand out in the qualities they feel American families care about most.

Selections were based on great job opportunities, top schools, safe streets, economic strength (even during this economy), good healthcare, cultural and outdoor activities, and nice weather.

“We know Castle Rock is great place to live, work and raise a family,” said Mayor Paul Donahue. “Now, other parts of the country are starting to find out. Our residents work hard to maintain the small-town charm that we all enjoy. We’re more fortunate than many other communities – our hard work and tough decisions are starting to pay off.”

The Sapphire Pointe Board of Directors would like to personally thank all of the
residents who participated in the Fall 2011 homeowner survey. We received some great
feedback and direction on the items that homeowners feel we should pursue this coming year.

Design Review Committee (DRC)

There are now Painting guidelines and Fence Maintenance and Staining guidelines which were ratified at the March 2011 Board Meeting.  Several other DRC proposals are currently under final revisioning, including a DRC pre-approved list for homeowners.
